Driven by a deep commitment to educational equity, our founder has extended these efforts across Colombia, from Rionegro to Barranquilla, and to the remote regions of La Guajira. Collaborating with local organizations, the founder has donated books, transforming classrooms and inspiring children to embrace new opportunities through language. This mission has since expanded beyond Colombia, reaching communities in countries such as Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Peru, thanks to the support of dedicated volunteers.

Books Across Borders is an extension of H.A.P.P.Y. Tutoring, created to further bridge educational gaps and provide essential learning resources to children in underserved communities across South America. What began as a local initiative to support English language learners has evolved into a mission to bring quality introductory English books to communities that need them most.

To make our mission a reality, we rely on community-driven fundraising efforts, such as book drives, lemonade stands, and bake sales. These events allow us to gather the resources needed to reach more children, giving them access to tools that spark a love for learning and open doors to future opportunities.
